Johanna Keupp-Kosbahn

Flute, GesanG

Grew up in Munich, studied flute at the Richard Strauss Conservatory, then at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, graduated with a concert diploma. Frequently as an orchestral assistant or as a soloist with Munich orchestras, for example with the Munich Bach Soloists and the Bach Collegium, a regular stage music cast at the Bavarian State Opera for several years. She also teaches with great passion!

The intensive preoccupation with singing quickly led to her own surprise to a second professional mainstay. Her now extensive repertoire as a mezzo-soprano ranges from the Renaissance to contemporary music and includes both concert and opera literature. But she also proves her musical versatility time and again with excursions to musicals and jazz.
